GENERAL SETTINGS

The General Settings tab gives you the freedom to manage the basic aspects of your theme. This is where to look to choose a new pre-made color scheme, layout of items such as your blog, non-blog style preferred look, control your featured articles display, and much more.

LAYOUT SETTINGS

This tab allows you to control the size of, or enable/disable, thumbnails on pages and posts with ease. This is also where to look to enable and disable commenting on either blog posts or pages within the theme. Information provided in the post-info section can be modified through this tab.

ELEMENT COLORIZATION

This shortcode allows the user to quickly add toggled content to a blog. The code is versatile enough to accept any type of content. The user may set whether or not the information is set to toggled open or closed on initial load.

INTEGRATION TAB

Using third party scripts with a theme is accomplished by adding it through the Integration Tab. The user does not need to try and code these things into the webpage itself. Adding the requisite information to the body integration field will allow the theme to use it. This is useful for tracking utilities like Google Analytics.

ADVERTISEMENT MANAGEMENT

This themes panel allows you to input a destination URL and banner URL for each advertisement. They can then be toggled on or off at your convenience. Many themes come with an available 468x60 and 728x90 slot. Available slots may vary depending on the layout of the theme.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

The theme panel provides easy access to all meta information of your webpage, which is all important for SEO. Attach meta titles, descriptions, and keywords to each section of the theme. Enabling canonical URL’s allows you to avoid duplicate content filters.

SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION

The support documentation is available under this tab. Included is the readme for the theme, troubleshooting guides, and installation instructions. Links are also included to various video tutorials to help you get your theme set up.

This collection of shortcodes is further supplemented with functional support in the WordPress text editor. A mouse click is all you need to get that shortcode in place and working for you. No need to worry about typos or backtracking when a simple click will accomplish what you need.

BUTTONS VARIETIES

The [button] shortcode lets a user create attractive buttons with ease and speed. A wide availability of colors and styles ensures that the right button is available no matter what theme you choose.

CONTENT BOXES

Bringing attention to specific content in a post is as simple as using a Content Box. Five variations are available all of which feature fluid width sizing that adjusts to the size of the parent element.

TABBED CONTENT

Horizontal and vertical tabbed content is easily created with the [tab] shortcode. These tabs have a fluid width to wrap to any screen display or resolution in addition to auto-rotation options.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social Media is an integral component for promoting any product, message, or blog. This series of shortcodes is available to add social media badges to your blog. More people sharing how interesting they found the blog means more viewers.

PASSWORD PROTECTED CONTENT

The simple use of the [protected] shortcode in a post will require viewers to be logged in before being able to view it. Landing on a post protected in this way will display a prompt to log in to a WordPress account to continue.

COLUMN LAYOUTS

Content layout can sometimes be troublesome while trying to use the WordPress text editor. The Column Layout shortcodes allows you to display your content in any number of layouts. That gives great versatility for a variety of styles and adding structure to the posts.

EASY TOOLTIPS

Tooltips can be added to any element to help provide additional information. Unnecessary clutter can be distracting and take away from the overall presentation of the content. The Tooltip shortcode is an unobtrusive way to ensure a reader has all the information available.

AUTHOR INFO

Multi-author blogs, such as those for businesses, may find good use of the Author Info shortcode. It allows the user to post a short author bio and picture (or avatar) at the end of a given blog post. This is optimal for helping to build individual interest and loyalty.

TESTIMONIALS

One of the best ways to gain the trust of a visitor is to allow others you have satisfied to speak for you. The Testimonial shortcode gives the user an easy way to add testimonials to help build credibility with visitors.

DROPCAPS

The Dropcap is a subtle technique in typography that can add flare and visual appeal to a blog’s content.

QUOTES

Pull quotes can be emphasized with a choice of two styles of quotes.

Pre-made styles and functions are available in page templates to ensure a user does not have to spend a lot of time on technical aspects of their WordPress blog. A template can be added to any individual page to change the look and function of it for a more personalized experience.

IMAGE GALLERY

The Image Gallery Template is a simple way to create an attractive display for images in a number of categories. Various enhancements in the form of interesting animations and lighting effects help create a unique experience.

CONTACT FORM

Our goal is to help make your experience easier. Contact Forms are an important part of communication with visitors. Rather than use a third party solution, we provide an easy to use Contact Form template so your readers are never more than a click away.

SITEMAP

The Sitemap template allows the user to give a visual map of the website. Application of this template results in an organized display of the authors, tags, pages, and categories of the blog.

ADVANCED SEARCH

The WordPress search function is fairly underwhelming when it comes to options. The Advanced Search feature allows the user to search within categories, time periods, and post types.

FULL WIDTH

Removing the side bar with the Full Width template opens up a variety of design possibilities. This template can be combined with others for such things as a full-width image gallery.

MEMBER LOGIN

An option for posting your brand is available with the Member Login template. Rather than using the generic WordPress login, one can embed their own branded login which will help users identify better with your brand.

BLOG FEED

A blog feed is a great way to keep interested parties up to date regardless of your subject matter or categories. The Blog Feed template creates a list of recent posts in a blog-style format. This display is independent of standard post and category format so that it catches the eye of the viewer.

Each of the themes available on Themestore includes localization support. Each theme includes a series of .mo and .po files that can be used to translate easily. There is no need to handle any of the translation manually by having to hunt through files.

SIMPLE TRANSLATION

WordPress blogs display in English as a default setting. The software is able to be used in any number of languages that are supported. Themes that are used must be localized for easy translation. One of the folders present with the theme after download will be a /lang folder. This folder contains editable .mo and .po files. All English words that need translating are collected in these files. It is entirely unnecessary to hunt for hours through PHP files and thousands of lines of code to find every word. All it takes is just a few minutes of work to translate the theme to any language desired.
