Q.1 What is WordPress?

Ans. WordPress is a popular publishing platform that seeks to combine usability, aesthetics, and web standards to create a smooth experience. All of our themes require a self-hosted version of WordPress installed on your website.

Q.2 What are WordPress themes?

Ans. A WordPress theme is a ready made design or template for use with a WordPress powered website. WordPress handles all the content on the website while a theme simply alters the display.  

Q.3 How do I install WordPress themes?

Ans. Each downloadable theme includes a readme file with instructions on how to install it.

Q.4 Do themes work on WordPress.com websites?

Ans. Our WordPress themes only work on self-hosted installations. This is the same content management system that is available for download from WordPress.org. These themes will not work on WordPress.com hosted sites.

PURCHASE/ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

Q.1 How does the payment process work? How long does it take?

Ans. After your subscription is selected, you will be taken to sign-up page where you need to provide a your desired login. Once provided, you will be directed to our payment processing merchant. After payment is completed, you will receive an email with your log-in credentials.

Q.2 I haven’t received my email and can’t log-in?

Ans. If you do not receive your email within an hour of payment rendered, please contact our support team and we will get the problem rectified. Oftentimes this email is instant.

Q.3 What payment methods do you accept?  

Ans. The merchant entity we use for payment processing are 2CheckOut, PayPal and MoneyBookers. They accept all major credit cards.

PASSPORT SUBSCRIPTION

Q.1 What is the difference between the "Personal Premium Themes Passport" and the "Developer Premium Themes Passport"?

Ans. Users that are only looking for themes for their own personal use will want the Personal Passport. The Developer Passport is for web designers and developers that would like to use themes on multiple websites for clients.

Q.2 Am I still entitled to support once my subscription has ended?  

Ans. We provide continued support on themes to our former Passport members.

Q.3 Am I still able to make downloads from ThemeStore once my subscription has ended?

Ans. No. Expiration of your Passport account removes access to the downloads areas. Theme upgrades and regular updates are available to paid subscribers.

Q.4 Am I still able to use themes once my subscription is out?

Ans. Yes, you may use the themes you downloaded after your subscription has expired.

Q.5 How do I cancel my subscription?

Ans. 2CheckOut requires the vendor contact them to end a recurring bill payment. Contact our support team before your next cycle of billing to cancel and avoid further charges.

GENERAL THEME

Q.1 What compatibility do your themes have?

Ans. Our themes are kept up to date with the latest version of the WordPress software and regularly tested with a variety of the more popular internet browsers.

Q.2 Am I able to change the language of a theme?

Ans. Each theme includes .po and .mo files which have a collection of all English words used. These files can be used to easily convert the language with just a few minutes of work invested.

Q.3 How often do you update your themes?

Ans. Themes are updated as new bugs are fixed or we feel a new feature should be added. The Change Log for the theme will reflect the current version and past edits.

Q.4 How do I update the theme from an older version?

Ans. If you have made no modifications to the older theme files, then you can simply overwrite the older version. If you have modified the files of the older theme installation, then you will need to go through the Change Log and manually update the correct files.

Q.5 Will themes work with the different plug-ins I use?

Ans. We design our themes to work with many different types of plug-ins. Unfortunately, we cannot absolutely guarantee that they will always be compatible. Thousands of plug-ins are available and it would be impossible to test against them all and ensure compatibility.

Q.6 Am I permitted to use the themes on multiple sites?

Ans. Yes. Themes may be used on any number of domains under the terms of your Passport plan.

Q.7 Do themes work with WordPress Multi User (WPMU)?

Ans. Yes, our themes are compatible with WPMU.
